Getting back into this after 25 years, been lurking for awhile, collecting parts, designing a layout, etc.

Handed over the box of stuff for xmas today. I have a basic layout setup, just a loop to test connections, etc. Doing benchwork on the rest of the room, except now the secret is out that it is not a woodworking bench but a train bench.

Have a Digitrax Zephyr DCC system and a non DCC Atlas loco. I think i have everything connected properly, but the loco doesn't move. Light is on, it "sings", track has power, track is new, loco is new so I think the connection is new. Everything sets up like the quick start guide says, brief CS, set loco to "00".

Cannot get it to move, so I disconnected and played with a few things. Only difference now is upon startup I do not get a brief CS code, but SLP.

ANy help is appreciated.
