Circuitron ER-1 Question
Posted by Dallas Model Works on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 5:14 PM
Hi

On the ER-1 are the + and - supply terminals supposed to be connected on
both sides?
Or is this just a power pass through like on the BD-1? There is
no indication (i.e. in/out) on the ER-1 board as there is on the BD-1 and
the instructions are vague.

thanks

Craig

Hi Craig,

I for one, am not familiar with this unit but there are two easy ways for you to test it.

1) Use an ohmmeter from one side to the other. Zero ohms indicates a pass through.

2) Hook power to one side and a light bulb of the proper voltage (or an LED and resistor) to the other side. If it lights up to the same brightness on each side, again a pass through.

Good luck,

Karl
