Another possibility: the new Sergent couplers. See: http://user.icx.net/~sergent/EC87.htm MUCH more proto-looking, and operating - with a working knuckle. I have not seen or used them myself, but I do want to try them. No doubt somebody will develop a DCC uncoupling mechanism for this too. Best... Chris Stirling
