Thanks to everyone for the information. In answer to Chateau Richer I model HO, currently building a free-lanced based on PRR in south central Penna. Layout room is 16' x 22'. Layout is around the walls with a 5' x 8' pennisula on both short sides. L-girder bench work is done and about 1/3 of sub-roadbed is laid. Handlaying a curved turnout, even from a template, doesn't sound like a terribly rewarding experience, at least for me. I guess I'll use one of Walthers 32/28's and fudge the curve. At least it is on a curve where you view the inside so it won't be so noticeable. In answer to Cablebridge, apparently Peco will not be producing Code 83 curved turnouts this year. At least that is the information provided on their website.
