I just installed the Atlas TT and was surprised how well it works, considering how inexpensive it is. It doesn't have a pit though. Indexing is very accurate. The motor drive is a bit noisy, but I placed some rockwhool inside the motor shed, and that cut down on the noise a bit. For around $50, you can get the TT, the motor and the roundhouse. Great deal.
