I just ordered from www.alltronics.com. Ordered 70 leds, 300 resistors, switches, led holders, 48 PCB dual led indicators (for turnout positioning) and a bunch more and it only came to 25 bucks. One third the cost of radio shack. I enjoyed just browsing the site they have all kinds of electronic stuff.

I found mine on E-bay. it's been 6 months so I don't remember exactly but I got like 20 quality DPDT for about $10 and 25 SP momentary pushbuttons for about $6.00. Try searching Ebay. I got them for $6 freight and they arrived in 2 days, from someone in Colorado. Way less than the Shack and they are high quality switches. Dave

Bets prices I've seen are either Demar or that pace on ebay - it's an ebay store, not auctions. Chip (Spacemouse) got his switches from there, he can tell you the name. But the prices were very good - switches and LEDs for the panel as well.

Dunno about shipping to Canada though.

I just got all of the switches and indicator LEDs for my control panels from Demar, http://www.demarelectronics.com . I got SPSTs for controlling lighting and shut-off sidings, SPDT momentaries for turnouts, a DPDT for the turntable motor drive, and a few extras for growth. Good prices and fast shipping. I like having all of the switches made by the same manufacturer, because it gives a nice consistent look to the control panels. Think about getting odd stuff like shrink tubing, 2-56 nuts and bolts (in nylon, too) and terminal blocks, because they've got all that, too, and you might as well just put in one order and save on the shipping.

I really do wi***hey had a modern "shopping cart" type of website, though, instead of the ancient form they use. Oh, well.

I have 30 DPDT and 13 DPST switches you can have for free (if you will pay for the shipping). They are all fine but a bit dusty. They came from a previous layout I had in the pre-command control days. Since I, too, am in Canada, shipping will not be a problem. Send me an email.
