has anyone tried the new NCE Powercab or heard anything about it... that is what I am going to get...

I know that it only has 1-amp maximum output. Cost is $180 list, $140 discounted from either Empire Northern Models or Tony's Train Exchange. NCE makes a 3-amp booster that can be added to increase the number of locomotives you can run with it. Here's a more thorough description from Empire Northern's web site:

I believe you can use it as an extra trottle with the NCE PowerPro system. Mike, hope that's a help...
