Take this for what its worth, since these other guys have much more experience. I have a minimum of 4 inches of foam, so I used 1.5 " straight pins from Walmarts sewing department. I just touch the pin heads with a Sharpie marking pen to get rid of the shine. Seems to hold the track well and I can pull it up easy and reposition it. I wish I had pinned the coak down instead of gluing it down.

My $0.015 (Because that is all its worth :) )
