Pink Foam IS available in California!

Just got back from a Home Depot Supply store in Milpitas, CA. They have OwensCorning "INSULARPINK" Foamular in stock.

2 sizes - 1"x2'x8' (SKU 465-124) $6.35 ea, 3/4"x2'x8' (SKU465-145) $5.60 ea.

I also called anothe HD in San Jose, asked them to check stock on SKU 465-124, and they have 102 pieces in stock.

Now for the bad news. They do not carry 2"x4'x8' foamular in stock. They will special order, but it comes in packs of 96 sheets! So if you're in California, find 95 of your closest friends and go for it.

HD indicated special orders would take 2-3 weeks to get because it is shipped in from the east.

The good news is if you are all building 4x8's then you only need to find 48 friends [:D]

You COULD always laminate two of the 1" sheets to get 2" thickness. I forget the exact price but I think that's cheaper than I get it at the local HD here in PA.

I've used 4 sheets already, and by the time I'm done will have about 12-14 sheet used.
