modern buildings in N
Posted by pastoolio on Friday, January 21, 2005 12:56 AM
Does anyone know of any manufacturer that makes mordern buildings in N scale??? All I ever see is old stuff, nothing that would be 80's and up. Yeah, you can streach your imagination with the old one's, but really, with all the new locos that Kato and Atlas has out, a dash 8-40BW just don't look right next to a 19th century building. At least around where I live you don't see that stuff. I'm modeling the early 90's (my early teen years) and am having a hell of a time finding buildings that would look like they need a siding going to them. Any help???[:)]

Pikestuff makes modern steel buildings .(http://www.rixproducts.com/model_railroad_kits.htm) And I know Walthers has some modern looking buildings, but other than that, I don't know what else is out there.

Try checking at Wig-Wag. (http://www.wig-wag-trains.com) They carry a pretty good line of products, and their prices are quite reasonable.
