Minimum radius on modest sized home layouts

<p>The term modest certainly rings a different bell for different people. What is considered to be a huge layout in Japan, is a standard layout in my country, already a big one in the UK, where they build layouts in box files, but certainly a micro layout in the US.</p> <p>I´d consider my HOm (metre gauge narrow gauge, running on 12mm track)layout of roughly 3 by 5 ft with a minimum radius of 13" to be a modest layout.</p>
