The Milwaukee Road Warrior

One manufacturer I didn't hear anything about in this thread is MTH Trains.  I know they are based on the east coast and I assume they have production overseas.  Just wondering if anyone here has experience with their engines?  Thoughts on them?

MTH is located here in Maryland, they were originally an O gauge company, who decided to venture into a lot of other areas, including HO. Yes, their product is made in China.......

They are unique in several ways. They have their own command control system called DCS, their decoders are triple mode, DCS, DCC and DC. They have not always worked to everyone's satisfaction.

Their marketing and approach is more like the O gauge market, they don't fully understand the HO market.

Their product is high enough in quality, though they have problems, often with electronics......

Their prices are arrogantly high in my opinion. But my biggest complaint with them is their detail is often over sized and purposely more "handling friendly", like their O gauge roots.

I don't know many modelers who have there products, but someone must buy the stuff?
