<p>I have my doubts that this will work well. Plastic does not stain well with diluted inks. Better to spray paint the entire track with a dark brown color, wipe of the rail tops, add ballast to the track and then stain those parts you want to resemble coal and ash dropped on the track.</p> <p>I did that with Kato N scale Unitrack and, though a tedious job, it worked quite well.</p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/Track1.jpg" alt=" " /></p>
