Windmills, want to see your completed kits in HO scale
Posted by rrebell on Saturday, September 10, 2016 10:55 AM

I am finishing up a farm scene and found out I had a windmill by SS ltd. in a farm implaments kit. After building the disker and harrow I don't know if I have it in me to build the windmill being it was an after thought, that being said I ran across the kit for windmills by Walthers and wonder if any of you have compleated pics of either of these or other brands.

Here's one I built a number of years ago. I just sat down and did it.

Roger:

The windmill looks good. It is even suffering some wind damage (missing blade). I hope that was intentional.

Did you use a kit or did you scratch build it?

The missing blade was intentional. It could have been built either way, but I decided it would look better this way. And, yes, it was a kit.
