Matching paint colors on Preiser figures
Posted by Lone Wolf and Santa Fe on Thursday, March 5, 2015 9:10 PM

I have three sets of HO scale German Reich soliders by Preiser (PR16880 etc). They are very nice. I also have a few sets of unpainted soliders to match however I am having trouble matching the colors. I usually use the flat colors of Tamiya acrylic paints. Any advise on which paints to use or how to match the colors will be welcome.  k thx.

Vallejo has about 300 colors between it's Model Color and Panzer Aces lines.  Their products are targeted at military modelers, and they have all the standard uniform colors.  Download their color swatches from their website (www.acrylicosvallejo.com) and see if they have what you need.
