Pull out hidden traverse staging yard
Posted by Benjamin Maggi on Monday, January 28, 2013 12:01 PM

I remember an article in Model Railroader about building a large stading yard on drawer tracks, such that it could be pulled out or pushed in to line up specific yard tracks to the entrance or exit tracks. It detailed construction and wiring of the yard.

Can anyone tell me which issue it is in? I cannot seem to locate it?
Thanks.

To narrow it down a bit, the most recent specific sliding staging yard (traverser) article was in the September 2012 issue of Model Railroader (Terry Thompson). Additional articles appeared in MR December 2000 (John Signor) and Model Railroad Planning 2007 (Bob Johnson).
