turnout drawings
Posted by GGOOLER on Thursday, September 2, 2004 12:37 PM
hello all
Starting to plan out my ho scale empire in my garage.
So i was wondering if anyone out there has any of the most common turnouts
drawn in Acad format .dwg.
And wouldn"t mind sharing these with me.
Or if some could convert turnout files from some of the train drawing programs to either dwg or dxf formats
thanks

GGOOLER,

If you use the Atlas Right-track software you can save track segments or components, including turn-outs, as .dxf files and then open them up in Autocad.

thanks blueriver
i downloaded the program and did the dxf convertion
a 12" turnout ended up being 305". i scaled it down to size.
sizes where fine except lines were broken and i should mentioned i already have the atlas custom sizes drawn.
i would really like to find some other brands of turnouts with the curved or wye shapes
thanks
glenn.
