HO Track

What is the difference between PECO Setrack and PECO Streamline?  I recently received Left-hand (ST-245) and Right-hand (ST-244) PECO Setrack turnouts.  I wanted to double check dimensional properties so went to the PECO website and found that nearly all online information relates to PECO Streamline track products.

You may have your answer in http://cs.trains.com/TRCCS/forums/p/67749/830890.aspx from 2006

Most on-line references seem to be to the OO version of sectional track (which looks a lot like Atlas sectional track).

I did find this diagram of all the piece parts: http://www.kato-unitrack.co.uk/images/PDF/ho-oo-setrack-diag.pdf

Hi Busted, Welcome,

Peco Setrack I'd call the toy train set product in N andOO/HO.  Where as the Peco Streamline is the modelling product.

Setrack is a complete system of curves of differing radius with different length straights and points and dimond crossing to match, ideal for pining to a board and get running.

Streamline in N and OO/HO is where the bug takes hold and you start modelling with a range of points (switches) and crossings of differant codes(rail heights) to go with the Streamline Flexi Track you see and read about.

I've been at it a while and Peco was all we had worth talking about here back in 70s so I got to be a bit bias, it is a good product to start with, if you have a good supplier handy, even better.

Oh an ye, this ere hobby is fun yu know.

Be in touch.

pick.  PS hope your digit gets better.
