<p> I guess that everyone of us has his/her own proven method. I do a 1:1 print of my trackplan, tack it down on the roadbed, mark the position of the turnouts, take away the papaer, position the turnouts according to the marks, do a lot of adjustments, tack down the turnputs and draw connecting centerlines for the track. Works fine with me.<br></p>
