I have a couple of thoughts on that - take them or leave them as you see fit... <br /> <br />Wall studs are not the greatest material. 2x4 is probably overkill for benchwork, but they definitely do work. Just not all that light. They also tend to warp and twist. Walls are also usually built with nails - you might want to replace /re-enforce them with screws. Also, make sure none of the joints came loose or were damaged during demolition. By all means, reclaim the material if it is good, but trying to preserve a 4x8 wall and make it into (essentially) a 4x8 table may be tricky, especially if you do not have the space [;)]. <br /> <br />Good luck! <br /> <br />Andrew
