I've seen Z Scale used to represent a G-scale garden railroad on a G-scale layout (if that makes sense!). Was on a garden layout belonging to someone I used to know - he built the Z-scale onto a seperate baseboard featuring a house and garden, so he could bring it indoors during rougher weather.
