XTrkCad v3.1.4 deselect all command?
Posted by mearrin69 on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 6:08 PM

I'm probably just being dense but is there a Deselect All command available in XTrkCad v3.1.4? I'm running Vista and can't get help up for some reason. Also, tried v4 but don't have access to any 'parts' so I'm using the old version until I have time to try to figure that out.

Thanks for any help!

Escape!

To get to the parts in 4.01, File, Parameter Files, Browse, into the params directory.  Select what you want to use.  I think in 3 they just came all loaded, probably less efficient.

Well, I don't know how I missed that. Still, would be nice if it was on the menu. Thanks! That'll save me a lot of clicking. Will check out the parameters file tip. I figured it would be easy to fix - but thought that maybe the parameters didn't come with the distribution or something.

They are there.  Someone found that some were a bit sparse, I don't remember which.  There is a solution.  I'll do a search and link to the thread.

EDIT:

Here it is:

If anything is selected you can right click anywhere on the layout and you find a "deselect all" option.

If nothing is selected, it will not appear.

Or just hit ESC key too.
