There have been a couple of articles in the MR recently that show you how to install decoders in athearn locos. Indeed Digitrax sell a decoder with a wiring harness for athearn locos so you can do it without soldering. <br /> <br />There shouldn't be any reason why you can't convert the trainline loco but it is a bit more complicated so would be difficult ot put up on this board. <br /> <br />Try getting magazine articles and books (Lionel Strang brought out one a wee while ago) that will give you pinters and enable you to do it. <br /> <br />It should not be very difficult. <br /> <br />Neil
