I am a retired inside wireman(electrician) I started my HO layout in 2009. It measures 20'x14'x18 U shaped layout. It has two main lines. I run a consist Loco #8617 and 8612  Union Pacific SD 70 ACe diesels, .This is my third a temp I use DCC NCE POWER PRO with a 5 amp booster. I run 6 locomotives most of the time. My Amtrak P42   has eleven passinger cars. 

Basic layout is 1/2" Plywood base with cork roadbeds. I like Union Pacific SD70 ACe engines. Code 100 track. I enjoy making scenery, mountains out of extended foam and scultimold. 

Most of the mountains are removeable so I can clean my track easier. My backdrop was hand painted on hard board.

I have a dariey farm with lots of mike cows, horses hand painted. My main town has two main streets.
