I am a retired Police Officer after 35 years with the Toronto Police Force.

My Grandfather was the Yard Master at the Spadina yards in Toronto for many years. My father was a steamfitter for CN Railway.

I am just starting out in model railroading and subscribe to Model Railroader as well as Classic Trains.

My main interest is in the steam era and I am building my collection based on that. I really want to build a layout of the Spadina Roundhouse and connecting lines.
