I'm a longtime reader of MR and wannabe modeler that still doesn't have a real layout (maybe in the next house?) I'm a programmer by trade and as such have kept a beady little eye on the DCC front to figure out how to plug my computer into the layout to create even more traffic. 

I occasionally get the chance to run around taking photographs of big trains and their habitat.
