I am a retired Caterpillar Aurora IL. employee of 36+ years In assembly , engineering and logistics.

  I have also been a plant manager for a farm service business (FS) and  had my own large truck, over 1 ton salvage business and several other positions before and during many Caterpillar work stoppages over the years.

We had trains when I was a child but they were displayed or in storage till I retired in early 2009 when I decided to make a new layout at our new home with a basement as a retirement hobby.
