The K & N Rwy is prototypical line featuring areas served around 1960 by the London-Midland and Great Western railways in Britain. The "K" stands for Kernow (Cornwall). The center piece of the layout is a complex of buildings straddling the main line with the Prestwick station on one side and the clubhouse of the Prestwick Golf Club, the site of the first British Open or as the Brits say "The Open Championship."
There are a number of "what ifs" on the layout including the compression of the geography to place several far away areas only a tie or two apart.
I will post pictures in the near future.
