I model the Jersey Central in N scale. My 5' X 4' layout fearures switching operations around a freelanced central New Jersey town. I run RS1, RS3, SD 35, SD 40, FM Trainmaster, VO 1000 and a 4-6-2-Pacific that pulls the "Blue Comet" on rail fan trips. The layout has full scenery, timed traffic lights, operating crossing signals and slow motion switch machines controlled by a hand built switch controller. I run a Digitrax radio controlled system for all locomotives. The Erie Lackawanna, Jersey Central and Lehigh Valley all interconnect traffic on my layout.  I haven't found a club nearby so I have built and operated the layout alone over the last ten years. Most things I've learned have come from Model Railroader and books.
