Hello, my name is Paul Duffield, otherwise known as Duff. I am in my mid forties and I live in sunny Queensland, Australia.

When I’m not busy with family and work, I enjoy building models, especially model railroads. I have worked with N, HO and OO scale and am currently building my second OO scale layout called Forest Ridge Run, for which I have created the benchwork, laid some track, done a heap of under bench wiring on points and CABs, and started on some structures.

I am not a professional railway modeller. In fact, many of my efforts go horribly pear shaped and are worthy only of the rubbish tip. However, I continue to study the techniques of more experienced modellers in the hope that my skill with modelling will improve.
