My primary interest is the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad during the late 70's to the mid-90's at the point of the U.P. transition.  Location preference is the upper Michigan ore lines (Northern Wisconsin) from Green Bay to Empire Mine and then secondarily, the LS&I, the E&LS, and the MILW in the same area. This is my primary modeling interest.

I have though recently developed an additional interest in steam, and it's historical use in Michigan's Upper Peninsula as well.  I have a Facebook page which is laid out as a timeline of historical developments on the C&NW Ore Division (late 70's division name) and I try to post there whenever I find something significant or if I find a little trivia.
