I'm in Western NY State, outside of Rochester New York.  I have an "intermediate" sized HO layout with scenery/buildings suited to run both modern and older road names which are CSX and Erie/Erie Lackawanna.  I run an NCE Powercab with a Smart Booster.  I have 13 turnouts all powered by Tortoise switch machines which I operate off a panel.  I use both code 83 and 70 track. My decoders are mostly NCE, but recently have gotten into the Broadway Limited diesels, (2 AC6000s and a CSX switcher), which has turned me on to sound.  My other diesels are a GE 8-40CW in Conrail paint which I built 20 years ago from A-Line and other parts, an Athern SD-50 CSX, (Dark Future), an Athern C44-9W and a Bachman SD40-2, both of those CSX as well.  My Erie motive power includes a pair of Stewart F7As and a pair of Bs which all run as one unit.  I also have a pair of Lifelike E8s, and GP9 that I built from Athern and A-Line and other parts, an Athern Alco RS2 (custom painted for Erie), and a pair of Atlas S1s which I also custom painted.  Oh yeah, I have a set of Erie Lackawanna E8s.
