Chase Gunnoe is a Trains Magazine Correspondent residing in Scott Depot, W.Va., about 8 miles west of Charleston. A graduate of the University of Charleston with a B.A. in Integrated Communication, Gunnoe is the Marketing & Business Development Manager for the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad. 

At the railroad, Gunnoe leads marketing, branding, and communication efforts on all DGVR railroad companies, including the West Virginia Central, Cass Scenic, and Shenandoah Valley railroads. At Trains, Gunnoe is a contributor to the magazine's online News Wire and Observation Tower blogs. He also prepares feature stories and assists with the magazine's photo specials. In his free time, Gunnoe enjoys traveling internationally, scuba diving, and kayaking.
