I am a Licensed Funeral Director living in Asheville, North Carolina.  I have been enamored with trains since I was about three.  I am a lifelong HO Scale modeler, and am attempting to build my dream layout.  I am an amateur railroad historian, dealing primarily with the Clinchfield Railroad, the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad (Tweetsie), the Southern Railway's Murphy Branch, but my passion being the Yancey Railroad, a 12.83 mile shortline that ran into Burnsville, NC, not far from my childhood home.
