Things are really starting to take shape!

Just like a fine painting, scenery application is a work in progress. Layers upon layers of dirt and ground cover are applied, blended, then cemented to the layout. I forgot to mention before all this commenced, I spray painted the track and ties with flat black and brown camouflage paint to achieve that aged, weathered steel and wooden tie look. A Mr. Clean soft-scrub is great for removing the primer and paint from the railheads.
