General Mills Grain Elevator_01

NEARLY finished Grain Elevator scene on the west end of Canal St. Empty boxcars wait loading while the final,few tons of grain are filling the stern-most hold on the Laker Lawrence H. Johnson. In the slip to the right of the elevator is the STILL unbuilt Laker Chas. R. King, my summer project. When completed it will be backing away from the Great Northern Ore Dock with the help of the tug Muriel J (also unfinished).
