San Francisco Municipal Railway PCC No. 1061 rolls down Market Street on the Embarcadero en route to the Castro District in March 2009. This PCC is one of several single-end streetcars built 1946-48 for Philadelphia Transportation Company; No. 1061 is painted in the Pacific Electric’s 1940’s red, orange and white scheme.
