Carlson Family HO Layout

She's thirty four years old, and wearing plenty of battle scars from many thousands of miles she's traveled, but the hostlers still treat her with great care. B&O 5187 was built for the Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway by Alco Brooks way back in 1918, and in 1952, she has less than a year to live. Still able to handle her small passenger train of a baggage-mail car and a coach on the 107 mile journey from East Salamanca to Rochester, she most recently appeared as the star of a documentary titled "The Vanishing American". This model is one of the new Broadway Limited Imports USRA Light Pacific locomotives kitbashed and weathered to resemble the B&O 5187 in her final years.
