Hi Guys!
Another quick weathering project. I picked up this Athearn Covered Hopper for a good price and Boy! What a nice car! I weathered it with a black wash with a dirty brown airbrushing along the bottom with Model Master dark skintone. I used MIG pigments for the rust and airbrushed the trucks with Gunze Sangyo grimy black. I brushed the trucks with the MIG pigments and then dabbed Gunze Sangyo oil on the bottom of the journal boxes to get the damp, leaky oil look. the only detail item I added was the Details Wesy air hoses.
