FXE Gondola with Coiled Wire Load.

Here is a modified E&C Shops Greenville, corrugated side gondola, as used in MX railroads. Originally built by CNCF with Greenville standards for a car of this type, these cars built as NdeM units, have ladders in place of grab irons. This car has been modified by removing the molded-on grab irons and I add Tichy four rung ladders on each corner.

Wire load has been made using a plastic tube as a base, and then, some copper wire, coiled around the tube to simulate the steel product load. The load has been painted with metallized black color and some touches of rust acrylic paint. I add some pieces of thin brass wire to simulate the "coiled wire packs", and the load has been placed on the gondola, ready to ship from a big steel mill.

Enjoy...!
