In the post I made on "Capt Carrales' Challenge," of which I am quite proud of the replies [:D], many people's first caveat was that the "wife" or "husband" had to be given a...er...concession. Also, there were some giving a portion to an ex-spouse. Well, here it goes (manybe some of you Brits can answer this, since when it come to language, you are closer the the source [:p]) ... If the plural of mouse is "mice," is the plural of spouse "spice," or is it just plain "rat."
