I ordered this laser level and recieved it yesterday. I wanted an accurate and convenient way to measure the rise and fall of the terrain where I intend on installing my raised flexible (Bill Logan) roadbed system.

From my preliminary inspection of this tool, I can honestly say I'm very impressed. It projects a red dot over 100' in daylight, which is clearly visible. The base of the machined aluminum body is drilled and tapped for a 1/4-20 screw. This permits the level to be mounted on a standard camera tripod. I've seen this model in stores for over $100 and at just under $25 from Amazon, it's a steal. Order a pack of AAA batteries and you'll qualify for free shipping.
