Gonna try my hand at some scratchbuilding (in a very newbie "small" way) so I figured a Dremel would come in handy.

Purchased a #400-3/51 Dremel 400 Series XPR Rotary Tool Kit. Comes with a bunch of tools in two "mini-storage cases" to quote the inadequate documentation.

Problem is that none of the tools in either mini case are labeled with part number or any other identifying feature. So while the documentation tells me that color coded Red tools are for cutting, there's not ready way to tell which of the 51 attachements are red. While I can look up that the for fine engraving projects I need a #105 and #111 engraving cutter I can tell if I have one or the other.

Have I just gotten in too deep in a "if you have to ask then the tools are too advanced for your neophyte hands"?

Any help appreciated.

TJ
