Creer, owner of the Creer Mercantile Co. of Two Trees, Texas, announced Saturday that work is nearing completion on the restoration and rebuilding of the Creer Building. The fire was accidentally set by two new engineers that ran a special section through Two Trees. It was mistakenly reported that the Two Trees, Texas depot had been set alight…however, the fire at the depot was small and did little damage.

Late afternoon photo of the Creer Building proximate to the Post Office

“We are anxious,” said Two Trees Times owner and Editor R.E.
