Ron,
Your Q goes beyond my realm of knowledge, so I've emailed circulation and see if they can provide more insight.

Good Afternoon Rene,
On February 17th In another thread within this forum YOU stated that the magazine was in the mail. Well here it is March 1st and the fine folks in Australia, New Zealand, England and only god knows what other countries have there magazine in hand. The many fine folks like us here in Massachusetts and who knows what other states are still awaiting the arrival of the magazine. I still request that someone within your organization look into this matter with your distribution department. It just seems odd to me that the magazine can be in the other countries weeks before it is delivered just a few hundred miles from where it is published and printed. May I suggest a CHANGE from the U.S. Postal Service to U.P.S., Fed Ex or D.H.L..
Thanks for listening
Ron

My Garden Railways came today. Model Railroader came last Thursday. Sometimes they arrive the same day. Others it takes the mailman a little whilel to get through the Garden Railways.

Troy,
Yes, magazine dates are a funny thing, aren't they? It's the last day in Feb and I'm working on JUNE's content! As a general rule, you should have your April issue by the early part of March; so that means June will arrive in early May; etc. etc. The issue dates are, for the newsstand, more or less an "expiration" date. Usually the February issue will be pulled off the shelf in January, etc. You might see other special issues that say "display until XX" as their way of saying how long to keep them up.

When I worked for Classic Toy Trains, I had a subscriber that called me every month to ask when the next issue would arrive. I'm not saying you should go to that extreme, but if you ever have a question, feel free to email me and I can look on the schedule for you.

I do not have a subscription as I get my magazine ordered via my local shop.I have no idea when it's supposed to come out as the issue month never seems to add up!
I just ask once a week and sometimes it appears.
Can anyone explain the offset month thing??
