From my smaller model railroading days, the NMRA (Nat'l Model RR Assoc) had specific dimensions (standards if you will) for track and wheel gauge. This included not only wheel flange heighth/depth, but also wheel back-to-back distance, tread width, etc. Additional gauge points were provided for rail spread and turnout frog depth/width and right-of-way clearance.

In visits to G gauge equipment suppliers, internet surfing and advertisements, I have not seen something like the above mentioned gauge for G. Does anyone is such a gauge exists? or is this more a matter that universal G gauge standards have not been agreed to by the various equipment manufacturers?

Advice...comments...anything would be appreciated. Thanx in advance. cb
