Thanks for the advice but i don't think much of this is applicable. I also have many years experience in importing and exporting and i don't need to be patronised by you or anyone else for that matter.

Allan i wouldn't be so tough, i don't know if i can even do it; i know you can cause a lot of trouble with Paypal under these circumstances.

Curmy what you say is quite right, they have been paid and they have not delivered and they have been very poor at communicating. They did not even give us an invoice, even though we asked for one and they did send us a partial shipment when we asked them not too. And other stuff they did not do, which would be in keeping with good business practice; there is a good reason for it, they have been overboard with volume of business, as i have had other deals with them in the past where they have been 100 % and i think this is only temporary glitch.

What you said about a slow boat is a worry, as it went letter rate instead of as asked Parcel Air, there seems to be an explanation for this but i am not in full understanding of this matter.

Rarely, twice in 4 years international letters (mainly christmas cards) have gone to Sri Lanka instead of to us and this has happened a few times to our neighbours as well. Why Sri Lanka you ask. Well I live in Maldives Place and automatic and semi automatice sorting machines, home in on our street and The Maldives is a department of the Sri Lankan postal system. This is a remote possibility

But all this aside anything can happen in the mails and i can't blame Ridgeroad for this but the way they have handled this entire matter compared to other shipments has been pretty bad.

Rgds ian
