LGB analog and digital
Posted by icepuck on Monday, May 7, 2007 8:33 PM
I now have an LGB 20232 2-4-0 that came in the UP starter set. On the bottom of the loco is a little white sticker that says "direct decoder", does this mean it has the MTS decoder or does it have to be installed? This is confusing becasue I have an LGB xmas street car and the sticker on the bottom side of it says "analog + digital". Can someone clear this up?

The first bit of your question sticker means you can put in the card and plug it in then prgram your controller.  Second some locs will run both ways with a card installed   By card I mean a small controll board.   Hope this helps
