plasicoat is certainly durable but i reckon for garden railway use the relatively massive size would be ok even if it rusts for ten years one option to rebar is the unistrut/ unirail fixing channel - expensive new but very durable and a bit easier to fix to . sometimes available is scrap yards. It certainly lasts 10 years in a marine environment.<br>
