If you intend to model standard gauge trains 1:29 would be a good choice since there is more available in this scale. However, 1:32 is the "correct" scale for 45mm track. If you intend to model a 3 foot gauge railroad 1:20.3 is the "correct" scale for 45mm track. You do have a third choice...7/8 scale on 45mm track representing 2 foot gauge trains and tramways.
